I used to post on my personal Instagram, but in all reality it just was of my dogs, and I think I posted once this past year on it. I’ve always wanted this page to not only show case my work, but give a little glimpse into my life. My husband and I have a huge heart for rescue dogs. Especially the pit bull breed, though we don’t exactly know what Laney is, we love having her apart of our lives. Most evenings you’ll find me cuddled on the couch with her.
What’s more romantic than a beach walk on a cloudy day?
Today has been more productive than I thought it would be. I some how managed to reorganize my living room, make a trip to Costco, cook meals; work, and sit down and read two chapters of a book. My goal lately has to be more intentional with my time to better serve my clients. Today was proof I can do it. Now to keep it up!

I spent the afternoon with my friend @sarahblockphoto trading headshots. I think it’s so important I put myself in the positions of my clients from time to time. I’ll be honest, I don’t love getting my photo taken, but I value it so much. Even with a bad hair day, and a serious lack of preparation, I am glad I did this! I am so thankful for Sarah making it easy! If you’d like to see more from today, keep an eye on my Instagram stories this evening. I’ll be sharing some facts about me!
Family sessions are so important to me, especially when I get a moment with each parent alone with their child. I have found it’s rare that parents really get to see how sweet those moments they share with their child really are. This session was extremely special to me. This is my friend Christina, she is the sweetest, and most giving person, and today is her birthday! Happy birthday, Christina! I am so thankful for you!
Usually Wednesday’s are a toss up for how much motivation I will have, and other Wednesday nights I’m heading to bed early. Tonight is an early night, but not for lack of motivation, but so I’m well rested for couples and family sessions this week! I’ll be the first to admit, being in front of the camera isn’t always easy, but it is fun, especially with the ones you love!
