This phrase comes encouraged by many. Today parties are thrown in honor of the end of what many would call a disaster of a year. Today many make commitments to do things differently this next year. For some, that means hitting the gym, others that means being more intentional with their relationships, many would also say they hope this next year brings them closer to God. While all of those things are great commitments to make, that's not what this is about. This is about remembering this past year for what good came from it!
I'm saying it. I loved 2016. No, I won't take it back. Many things happened this past year. Good and bad. Regardless of all that, I am thankful for what has been done this year. For me-- another year married, goals achieved, even crossed some bucket list items off (but I won't tell you what those are as they probably will seem silly to you.)
To end this year off, I thought I'd post some personal photos from Christmas in Big Bear! You may have seen a couple on my Instagram, or if we are friends on my personal Facebook page these aren't new to you, but they are a good reminder for me of some of the things I've been thankful for this year.
Hello 2017. I have many dreams for you. I pray the Lord uses me this year to bring him Glory!
